Q: What is Brambleberry?
A: Brambleberry is Knapp Farm's own creation which contains raspberries, blueberries, apples, and rhubarb.
The name refers to raspberries (a bramble) and blueberries (a berry).
"Brambleberry" can also refer to any fruit that grows on a bramble (cane with thorns).
Q: Where is your farm located?
A: We are south of Elmira off of Rt. 17 in the small town of Lowman.
Q: What are the health benefits of tart cherries?
A: Tart cherries are high in antioxidants and contain anti-inflammatory compounds in red pigment of their skins.
Cherries have been shown to reduce the pain of arthritis and gout. They also contain sleep-promoting melatonin.

Q: What is the difference between a conserve, a preserve, and a jam?
A: Conserve is a blend of several fruits, sometimes with nuts (Knapp Farm does not use nuts in conserves).
Preserves and Jam are essentially the same - they are made with one (sometimes 2) fruits and sugar.
